She was predeceased by: her parents, Granville Leavitt and Jennie Leavitt (Blainey); her former husband Kenneth Austin; her husband Bernard Barton; her children, Kenneth, Phillip, Barry Austin and Marie Foulkes; her grandson Kenneth; her siblings, Lonnie, Marshal, Helena Allen, Arlene McElroy and Louise Polk; and her sons-in-law, Murray Bishop and Brian Foulkes.

She is survived by: her daughter Zelda Blyth (David); her grandchildren, Angela Hebert (Dave), Brian Foulkes (Yvette), Melissa Austin (Tom Fawcett), Melody Austin (Jeff Hart) and Christian McLean (Brittany Bishop); and her stepdaughter Joann Boyd (Jimmy Richard). She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren.
