He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonse Cormier and Dora Cormier (Blanchard); and his siblings, Edward Cormier and Emerise Flynn. He is survived by: his children, Mark Cormier (June) and Martha Cormier; his grandchildren, Jacob, Justin and Grace; and his siblings, Johnny Cormier (Debbie), Joseph Cormier (Laurie), Yvonne Williams (Corky), Louise Myers (Paul) and Liza Poitras. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
