He was predeceased by: his parents, Dana Chapman and Glenna Chapman (Sypher); his sister Verley Bridges; his daughter-in-law Susan Bourgeois; and his former wife Pat.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Chapman (Gormley); his children, Karen Lynn Coakley (Marlon), Dale Chapman (Lil Moulton) and Bradley Chapman; and his stepchildren, Charles DeWaepenaere (Shannon), Trena Ackerson (Preston) and Kathleen DeWaepenaere. He is also survived by several grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; many friends.
