He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Szonyi and Madeline Fila; his wife Darlena Fila (Thibodeau); and his siblings, Louie Fila and Mary Richard.
He is survived by: his children, Amanda (Charles), Meg (Phillip), Jarret and Charles; his granddaughter Adaline; and his brother John Fila Sr. (Geraldine). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
For those who wish, donations made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or to the Lung Association of New Brunswick in Andrew's memory would be appreciated by his family.
