He was predeceased by: his parents, Archibald Jost and Hazel Jost (Gray); his son Ronald; and his siblings, Roland Jost, Joanna Downey and McCann.
He is survived by: his sister Eleanor Daly; his son Frank; his daughter-in-law Beth; and his grandchildren, Zoe (Ronny), Tasha (Abdull), Emma (Malcolm), Ellen (Ryan) and Ewan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
