He was predeceased by: his wife Loretta Elvira (Troop); his parents, Rufus and Edith (Holland); and his siblings, Melvin, Frank, Ernest, Angus, Alfred, Muriel Cook, Annie Rafter and Marjorie Fisher.
He is survived by: his children, Kimberley Johnson (late Robert) of Westcock, NB, Lori Musser (Robert) of Cocoa Beach and Michael Rafter (Alma Power) of Iqaluit, NU; his grandfather Vern'; and his grandchildren, Isabelle, Nicholas and Maia.
