It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lorne Alfred Wells (Midgic, New Brunswick), born in Bayfield, New Brunswick, who passed away on January 16, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Myrtle Minerva Wells (Fields) and Harvey Oulton Wells; his brother Victor Ormand Wells; his son-in-law William Scoggins; and his grandson Aart.

He is survived by: his wife Ida Belle Wells (Estabrooks); his children, Bonnie Vinet-Paradis (Bruce), Donald Wells (Lorna), Barbara Scoggins (late William), Brenda Wells (Robert), Sheila Wells (Mike) and Brian Wells (Jennifer); his brother Lewis Wells (Donna); his sister-in-law Katherine Wells (late Victor); and his grandchildren, Amy, Jessica, Kyle, Katelyn, Aaron, Jeffrey, Dawn, Samantha, Matthew, Cassey, Becky, Michael, Peter, Aiden, Dawson, Morgan and Kaelyn. He is also survived by his 29 great-grandchildren; his 2 great-great grandchildren, as well as by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
