He was predeceased by: his parents, Sydney Alder and Jessie Alder (Cadman); and his siblings, Olen, Charlie, Violet, Ernie, Hilda and Arnold.

He is survived by: his children, Brandon Alder (Bobi Guzzo) and Felicia Alder (Evan Mattinson); his grandchildren, Kasey, Kaiden, Havannah, Sage and Elena; his sister Debbie Alder; and his close friend Audrey Van Snick (Donna Mitton). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held in the Midgic Cemetery in the spring Burial Information Burial Time Spring 2023 Burial Location Midgic Cemetery Requested Charity Children's Wish Fund, or a charity of the donor's choice.
