He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Bourque and Louise Bourque (Cormier); his wife Jeannita; his daughter Murielle; and his brother Gerald.

He is survived by: his children, Leon, Luc, Pierre and Lisa; and his brothers, Laurie, Donald and Leonard. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren.
