He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Napoleon and Anne-Marie Caron (Ducharme); his wife Ella; and his pet Sparky. He is survived by: his children, Dorina Caron of Dieppe, Gisele Caron (Paul), Michel Caron of Toronto, Maurice Caron (Debbie) of Lower Coverdale and Joseph Caron (Pamela) of La Montain; and his grandchildren, Natasha, Emma, Evan and Connor. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
