He was predeceased by: his father Malcolm Cormier; and his niece Aleisha. He is survived by: his mother Yolande Cormier; his wife Angela; his son Mac (Shelley); his grandchildren, Savannah and Tristan; and his siblings, Murielle of Shediac, Francine of Memramcook, Suzanne (Roy) of Dieppe, Charline (Nelson) of Shediac, Edmond (France) and Jean (Hélène) of Quebec. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In light of the current coronavirus pandemic and at the request of the family, there will be private funeral.
