She was predeceased by: her parents, John Melanson and Béatrice Melanson (Bourque); her husband Honoré; her children, Juliette, Béatrice and Omer; and her siblings, Dorina, Jeannine, Dométhilde, Fred, Lionel and Aurele.
She is survived by: her children, Aline Cormier (Camille) of Dieppe, Alonzo (late Jaqueline Poirier) of Shippagan, Rhéal (Hélène) of Dieppe and Edouard (Majella Leger) of Grand-Barachois; and her siblings, Agathe Davis (late Clifford) of Dieppe, Elizabeth Melanson of Barrie Ontario, Gerald of Moncton, Laurie of Memramcook-East and Dollard (Rita) of Dieppe. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren.
