He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Grant and Amber Grant (Furlong); his wife Gloria; his grandson Jeremy Grant; his great grandchild Alisha Arastu; and his siblings, Madeline Sharpe, Aldous Grant and Murray Grant.

He is survived by: his sons, Michael Grant (Deanna), Glen Grant (Anne), Andrew Grant (Evelyn) and Daniel Grant (Penny); his grandchildren, Michelle Arastu (Karim), Danielle Cole (Jeremy), Kristy MacBurnie (Dustin), Marsha Furlong (James), Jeffery Grant (Jessie), Gregory Grant (Sarah), Stephanie Oakes (Michael) and Shelby Christie (Dexter); and his great grandchildren, Sadaka, Sophia, Haley, Julie, Billie, Myla, Ellie, Maverick, Gracelyn, Brayden, Vivian, Connor and Caden. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and extended family.
