She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald Swift; and her sisters, Gyda Corbett and Phyllis Piercy. She is survived by: her children, Harry Short, Thelma Short, Sheri (Brian) of Ivy Lea, ON., Michael (Anne) of Sussex, NB, Thom (Wendy) of Halifax, NS and Ron (Shelley) of Fredericton, NB.; her grandchildren, David Gaudet (Laura) of Vancouver, Erin Gaudet of Vancouver, Katie Swift (Holger) of Toronto, Colin Swift of Sussex, Dawson Swift, Taylor Thomas, Jorja Thomas of Halifax, Amie Johnston (Bradley) of Petawawa and Matthew Swift of Kingston; her great grandchildren, Wynn Gaudet, George Gaudet, Frankie Swift, Elynn, Wesley and Griffin Johnston; her sister Helen Beers (Hollis) of Vanceboro, ME; and her brother-in-law Claude Piercy of McAdam.
