He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert LaKing and Mary LaKing; his siblings, Robert, Bernard, George, Charlie, Myrtle, Mayme and Doris; and his granddaughter Tabatha Kitchen.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Ann LaKing; his children, Thomas LaKing (Linda) of McAdam, Debora Little (Mitchell) of McAdam, Sherry McFarlane (Joseph) of McAdam, Wendy LaKing of Quebec, Barry LaKing (Peggy) of McAdam and Randy LaKing of Texas; and his siblings, Maurice, Wayne, Maizie and Shirley. He is also survived by several nephews, nieces, and, cousins.
