It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maurice Vernon Burns (Mazerolle Settlement, New Brunswick), born in Liverpool, Nova Scotia, who passed away on May 15, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Daniel and Iscilda Burns (Manthorne); and his son Greg. He is survived by: his wife Ann (Mazerolle); his sons, George (Colleen) of New Hazelton, BC, Mike (Anne-Elisabeth Fauvel) of Yellowknife, NT, Peter (Laura) of Delta, BC, John (Sharon) of Winnipeg, MN, Jeff (Paula Gaudet) of Moncton, NB and Trevor (Sharon) of Red Deer, AB; and his daughter-in-law Rhonda Kenney of Paradise, NF. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
There will be a private family service and a celebration of life will take place after the pandemic is over.
