It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Eileen (Hawkins) Hanson of Maplewood, New Brunswick, who passed away on November 24, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Allison Hawkins and G. Maudie Hawkins (Yerxa); her husband Timothy Hanson; her stepson James Lindsay; her siblings, Pauline McCorquindale, Christina Brown and Billy Hawkins; and her brothers-in-law, George Hanson and Graydon Brown.
She is survived by: her close friend Larry Lindsay; her daughter Tina Thornton (Joshua) of Central Waterville, NB; her stepson Shane Lindsay of Sudbury, ON; her grandsons, Caleb and William Thornton; her siblings, Judy Christie (Leon) of Temperance Vale, NB, Betty Ann Albright (Paul) of Burtts Corner, NB, Charles Hawkins of Fredericton, NB and Allison Hawkins of Grand Prairie, AB; her siblings-in-law, Lloyd McCorquindale and Christina Hanson; and her close friend Peggy Lindsay (Fred) of Woodstock, NB. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 28th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Flewelling Funeral Home (585 Otis Dr, Nackawic, NB E6G1H6).
