He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hoyt and Pearl Hoyt (Marr); his great grandchild Caroline Hanson; his brothers, Venice Hoyt, Milan Hoyt (late Cora) and Osborne Hoyt (late Irene); and his brother-in-law Angus McGirr.
He is survived by: his wife Alma Hoyt (Munn); his children, Roger Hoyt (Donna), Sheila King (Dwight) and Larry Hoyt; his grandchildren, Nathan Hoyt (Sarah), Jenna Hanson (Jody), Shannon Hoyt (Brandon), Jillian Chute, Caitlin Hoyt, Emma Sharpe (Rodney) and Jordan Hoyt (Ben); his great grandchildren, Caleb, Cassidy Hoyt, Hayley, Alyssa, Charlotte Hanson, Jacob White, Addisyn, Harper Mcintosh, Jase and Jamie Sharpe; his sister Bertha McGirr; and his in-laws, Gary Munn (Edna), Ruby Howland (Sonny), Beatrice Yerxa and Patricia Munn. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
