He was predeceased by: his mother Kathleen Meagher; his stepfather Howard A Cummings; his parents-in-law, Arnold and Freda Murphy; and his close friend Ted Hadley.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Meagher (His Queen); his children, Amanda Jones (Chris), Kathleen Meagher (Scott Bird) and John Jr. Meagher (Angela); his grandchildren, Kelsey, Aidan, Sylvia, Bradley and Kylo; his sister Mary Hadley (Mike); and his parents-in-law, Anna Flaglor (Sonny), Hawlie Murphy (late Heather) and Darlene Murphy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
