It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Winnifred (Winnie) Lavigne of Lorne, New Brunswick, who passed away on March 23, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Dempsey and Catherine Dempsey (Strett) of Jacquet River, NB.; her husband Murray Lavigne; her son Sylvio Lavigne; and her siblings, Mona Maltais, Franky Dempsey, Salicity and Perpetua.
She is survived by: her significant other Lloyd LaPointe; her daughters, Suzanne LaPointe (Chris) and Micheline LeBel (Stephane); her partner's son Pierre Lavigne (Lesley); her sisters, Ann, Kathleen and Marion; her grandchildren, Kelsey, Jake, Jakota, Natisha, Angelica, Crystal, George and Leanna; and her great grandchildren, Grace and Jonathan.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the cancer society would be appreciated.
