She was predeceased by: her husband James Edward LaPointe; her parents, David Carrier and Stella Carrier (Lavigne) of Lorne; her sons, Donald and Eugene (Lorraine); and her grandson Danny. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren.
