He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Gallen and Mary Gallen (Mallaley); his wife Eva (Carrier); his siblings, Charlie, Tommy, Wesley, Jimmy, Billy Gallen, Mildred, Edith, Leona and Dorina; and his half-brothers, David, Crandall, Albert, Emery and Johnny.
He is survived by: his sons, Ernest (Monique) of Rimouski and Emery (Dawn) of Bathurst; and his half-sister Irene. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
