He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Burgess and Pearl Burgess (Rogers); his wife Rosie; and his sister Muriel (Roy Wilson). He is survived by: his sisters, Rev. Carol Mullin (late Merlin) and Joyce Fiset (Bob); his family, Michael, Laura Kenny and Cameron; and also, Derek, Alyson and Jaymi. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Salisbury Funeral Home (3350 NB-106, Salisbury, NB E4J3H3). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Salisbury Funeral Home Chapel (3350 NB-106, Salisbury, NB E4J3H3). A burial was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Fairhaven Cemetery.
