She was predeceased by: her parents, David Kelloway and Leah Kelloway (Smith); her former husband James Bent; her husband Theodore Chevarie; her grandson Bruce Bogle; and her great grandchild Aerielle Theriault.
She is survived by: her children, Marilyn Bogle (Graham) of Lepreau, NB, James Bent (Kym) of Lepreau, NB, Colleen Bradford (Danny) of L'Etete, NB, Linda MacRitchie AB (Paul Ross), David Bent (Karen) of Maces Bay, NB and Tammy Hefler (James) of Ontario; her stepchildren, Emile Chevarie (Joanne) of Blacks Harbour and Isadore Chevarie (Carolyn) of Blacks Harbour; and her siblings, David Kelloway and Agnes Curry of Cape Breton, NS. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren, as well as several step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In Merrill's memory, donations to a charity of the, donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
