He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Barter and Marguerite Barter (Kelly); and his siblings, Timothy, Dorothy and Peggy.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Barter (MacDonald) of Kouchibouguac; his children, Tara Mann (Matthias) of Riverview, Trish Hanscomb (John) of Fredericton and Tim Barter (Tracy) of Upper Coverdale; his grandchildren, Zoey, Ethan, Noah, Leah and Grace; his siblings, Theresa Seamans (late Ashley) of Fredericton, Jim Barter (Debbie) of Rusagonis and Bob Barter (Marion) of Fort Myers, Florida; and his brother-in-law Danny DeCoste of Debert. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Following provincial COVID-19 regulations, visitors will be required to provide proof of double COVID-19 vaccination and government issued ID at the funeral home. Masks are mandatory and we ask that social distancing is respected.
