He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Thomas and Ida "Ella" Thomas (McRae); his son Peter Thomas; and his siblings, James, Leonard, Harold, Samuel, Vernon, Robert Thomas, Jennie Simpson and Millie Hickey.
He is survived by: his children, Judy Bond (Glenn Jackson) of Hampton, NB and Robert Thomas (Kandy) of Sussex Corner, NB; his grandchild Robin Floyd (Rick Bowland); his great grandchildren, Marcia and Carter; his grandchild Fallon Thomas (Nathan Mullin); his great grandchildren, Joanna, Leah and Heather Plume (Matthew); his stepgrandchildren, Heidi Coggan and Robin Coggan; his brother Paul Thomas of Knightville, NB; and also, Ali, Liam, Blake, Riley, Kayne, Kieran, Lily, Alex and Paisley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
