We are sad to announce that on February 20, 2023, at the age of 66, Vi olet Mary Legere of Kingston, New Brunswick, born in Saint John, New Brunswick passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Albert Matchett and Margaret Matchett (Druet); and her sister Patricia "Patty" McCracken. She is survived by: her husband David G. Legere; her children, Kelly L. Legere-Gallant (Mohamed Fouda) of Dieppe, Kerry A. Jenkins (Dwayne) of Rothesay, Krista M. Holmes (Jason) of Hampton and George F. "David" Legere of Kingston, N. B.; her siblings, George Matchett of Saint John, Frank Matchett (Fariba), Irene McCrea (John) of Ontario and Margaret "Maggie" Stratis (Michael) of Mispec, N. B.; and her grandchildren, Isabel, Allison, Mackenzie Legere, Emilie Holmes, Ayah, Samba Gallant and Julie Jenkins. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Donations to the ALS Society or to the Special Olympics would be appreciated by the family.
