With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leon Barr (Kingston, New Brunswick), born in Saint John, New Brunswick, who passed away on January 10, 2020 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Colby Barr and Helen Leona Barr (Worden); and his brother Carl. He is survived by: his wife Judith Ann Barr (Mitchell); his children, Deborah Barr of Kingston, NB, Kitty Martin (Paul) of Bloomfield, Sonny Barr (Judy) of Kingston and Robbie Barr (Christa) of Hampton; his siblings, Delta White of Saint John, Harley Barr, Garrey Barr (Claudette) of Kingston and Marty Barr (Veronique) of Kingston; his sister-in-law Gwen Barr of Kingston; his grandchildren, Katie Hatvani (Peter), John Curtis Jones (Courtney), Holli Cole (Nolan), Mitchell Barr, Joey Thompson (Isabelle), Mike Thompson (Beth), Kira Della Valle (Giuliano), Jenna Floyd (Josh), Ethan Barr and Isaac Barr; his great grandchildren, Asher, Colton, Fenwick, Lillian, Hazen, Aidan, Auri and Benjamin; his stepgrandchildren, Mike Jones and Jennie Burley (Jamie); and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Noah, Hannah, Gracie, Hayley, Emily, Abby, Jeremy, Cassandra and Annabelle. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
