She was predeceased by: her parents, George Sudsbear and Desneiges Sudsbear (Daigle); the father of her children Edward Short; her great grandchild Brantley; and her close friend Leo McRae.
She is survived by: her children, Leonard Short of Kingston, NB, Louise Short of Lepreau, NB, Velma Byers (David) of Lorneville, NB, Norma Short of Burnaby, BC, Dorothy Rossignol (Mark) of Seeleys Cove, NB and Frances Vanier (Dave) of Kingston, NB. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, thirty-seven great grandchildren, twenty-seven great great grandchildren; as well as many more extended family, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Reid's Funeral Home (1063 Main St, Hampton, NB E5N5X9). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Reid's Funeral Home Chapel (1063 Main St, Hampton, NB E5N5X9).
