He was predeceased by: his son Walter Spike; his parents, George Spike and Marjorie Spike; and his siblings, Donna Spike, Irma Lovette and Leonard Spike.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Spike (Turple); his children, Donna-Lee Morash (Edward), George Spike (Jeannie), Laura Spike and Jonathan Spike (Alannah); his grandchildren, Nicole Spike, Katherine Morash, Brian Spike, George Morash, Brooke Spike, Makayla Spike and Meredith Spike; and his brother Paul Spike (Tracey). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
