He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Steeves and Julia Steeves (Murray); his great grandchild Zachariah; and his siblings, Vincent, Ronnie and Julie.
He is survived by: his wife Rhoberta; his children, Evelyn Oulton (Roger), Kim Embree (Roger), Thomas Steeves (Cindy), Harry Steeves, Melissa Steeves, Freda Steeves and Katelyn Wells; his siblings, Jean (Dave), Elizabeth (Raymond), Joan (Dave), Donna (Kyle), Kenny (Lena), Shirley (Boyd), Sharon (Dave), Judy (Evans), Ruth (Peter) and Philip; his sisters-in-law, Myrna and Helen; his niece Tammy; and his friends, Jim and Sue Holmes. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
