He was predeceased by: his father Sidney Simonds; his siblings, Marjorie, Sterling and Raymond; and his brother-in-law Edward Buck.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Simonds (Clark); his children, Nancy Simonds, Ricky Simonds (Alice), Ronald Simonds (Jean) and Randy (Holly); his grandchildren, Evan Simonds, Haley Paul (Ryan), Daniel Monteith (Tabitha), Jenny Monteith, Adam Simonds (Mallory), Samantha Simonds (Jonathan Ullhorn), Katie Kilfillen (Matthew) and Kayla Arsenault (Patrick); his great grandchildren, Vincent Reginald Kilfillen, Audrey Paul, Hayden and Harlee Monteith; his siblings, Doreen Buck, Linda Ruff (Monty), Bonnie Stewart (Darren) and Owen Simonds; and his close friend Raymond Gagnon.
In Lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the Carleton County Animal Shelter, as Reg loved all animals.
