He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard DeMerchant and Melissa DeMerchant (Broad); and his great grandchild Parker. He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, Scarlett Davenport (Dwaine), Bobby DeMerchant (Lisa), Jody DeMerchant and Heidi DeMerchant (James); his grandchildren, Joshua, Joel, Jordan, Dustin, Danielle, Janae, Tristen, Sawyer, Riley and Silas; his great grandchildren, Liam, Ben, Amira, Viola, Beau, Justice and Kash; and his siblings, Lewis DeMerchant, Herb DeMerchant, Martha Kinney, Joyce Wallace and Myrtle Boyd.

Memorial donations can be made to Holmesville Free Will Baptist Church and the Alzheimer's Society of New Brunswick would be appreciated.
