He was predeceased by: his parents, Hiriam Foster (Hias) and Caroline Foster (Stephenson); and his siblings, Robert, Herbert, Donald, Murray and Marion.

He is survived by: his wife Diane Foster (Downey); his daughters, Suzanne, Joanne Foster (Terry) and Roxanne Neilson (Ken); his grandchildren, Allison, Diedre, Dayna, Adam, Danielle, Kaelyn and Konnor; and his brothers, Peter, Blair and Gerald (Jerry). He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews and cousins.
