It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lona Eileen McElroy (Jacksonville, New Brunswick), born in Dow Settlement, New Brunswick, who passed away on November 19, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Allan Collicott and Lila Collicott (Lutwick); and her siblings, Lloyd, Aldon, Basil, Neil, Grace and Irma.
She is survived by: her husband John; her sons, Jeffrey, Eric and David; and her sisters, Lois Furrow, Barbara Lyons, Arlene White and Linda Shannon. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In her memory, memorial donations can be made towards the Alzheimer Society or the Upper River Valley Cancer Support Group.
