It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Richard Markey (Jacksonville, New Brunswick), who passed away on December 23, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Markey and Helen Markey (Corcoran); his wife Lynda Williams (Williams); his brothers, Joseph Markey (Lois), Gerald Markey and Donald Markey; his siblings-in-law, Norman Perry and Louise McDougall; his in-laws, William and Eileen Williams; and his siblings-in-law, Carol MacMullin, Brian Williams (Teresa) and George McGuire.
He is survived by: his sons, Kevin (Ann) and Christopher (Brittany); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, John, Hilary, Emily, Bridgette, Addisyn and Skyler; his great grandchildren, Aubrey, William, Lucas, Levi, Stevie, Blair, Avery, Navy and Sawyer; his siblings, Katherine Marie Perry and Henry Markey (Marilyn Cox); and his sister-in-law Sylvia McGuire. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
