He was predeceased by: his parents, Darrell Watson and Phyllis Watson (Jones); his daughter Rachel Jesso; his brothers, Dean, Guy, Brian and Garry; and his brother-in-law Thomas Perry.

He is survived by: his son Darren Watson (Danielle); his grandchildren, Lexi, Marcus, Molly, Aiden and Andrew; and his siblings, Avis Perry, Marg Wilson (Mac), Gene Watson (Anita) and Rick Watson (Roberta).
