He was predeceased by: his father Harold Bannister (Ethel); his siblings, Joe, Johnny, Jimmy, George, Clarence and Bernice; his parent-in-law Thomas Curtis (Barbara); and his siblings-in-law, Sherman Everett, Robert Gray and Betty.

He is survived by: his uncle Art (Grampy); his wife Marjorie; his children, Allison Bannister (Emily) and Amy Norrad (Derrick); his grandchildren, Ward, Dean, Caleb, Jonathan, Aaliyah, Malachi, Kelsey (John), Micky and Damon; and his great grandchildren, Liam and Emmett.

For those who wish, donations in Arthur's memory may be made to the Pembroke cemetery, or the Northampton rec center.
