He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis "Frank" Gillard and Emma Gillard; and his wife June Gillard. He is survived by: his daughters, Sherie Gillard, Shelly Flynn (Rob) and Paula Gillard (Nairn); his grandchildren, Nathanial, Evan, Riley, Liam and Aiden; and his siblings, Jane Gillies, John Gillard (late Betty) and Arthur Gillard (Gisele). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
