We are sad to announce that on January 19, 2024, at the age of 88, Helen Beatrice (Alcorn) Butland (Hopewell Cape, New Brunswick) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Alcorn and Mabel Alcorn (Snider); and her husband Hilton. She is survived by: her children, Sheldon Butland (Shawna) of Caissie Cape, Wendy Turpin (Garry) of Moncton, Carol Bezanson of Oromocto and Jennifer Steeves (Todd) of Ontario; her grandchildren, David, Steven, Paul, Mark, Christine, Michael and Sara; and her great grandchildren, Cameron, Ashton, Preston, Jack, Clementine and Benedict.
The family gives special thanks to the staff of Protem and wishes to express great appreciation for the loving care provided to our mother especially with the exceptional challenges and isolation during COVID.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer's Society or Alma United Cemetery would be appreciated.
