She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Rossiter and Irene Rossiter (Bernier); her husband James Douglas Steeves; her son James Douglas Steeves Jr. "Jimmy"; and her siblings, Gertrude Rossiter, Irene Way (Terry), Carol Nelson (Herbert), Jean Taylor and Hilyard Rossiter (Vivian).
She is survived by: her son Paul Steeves (Nancy) of Hillsborough; her daughter-in-law Geraldine Steeves of Hillsborough; her brother Eric Rossiter (Marla) of Alma; her grandchildren, Stephanie (Rodney) of Riverview, Sonya (Luke) of Lutes Mountain, Leslie (Norris) of Amherst and Justin (Leanne) of Shilo, MB; her great grandchildren, Hannah, Dylan, Dakota, Dawson, Caleb, Jayden, Peyton, Jackson and Nikolas; and her brothers, Malcolm Rossiter (Ruth) of Salem, John Rossiter (Bettyanne) of Riverview, Milburn Rossiter (Brenda) of South Branch, Earl Rossiter (Monica) of Beaverbrook and Roy Rossiter of Moncton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Albert County Funeral Home (4130 NB-114, Hopewell Cape, NB E4H). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
