He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Strayhorn and Charolette Strayhorn (Dow); his brother Robert "Bob" Strayhorn; and his son Brian Strayhorn. He is survived by: his sister Joan Williams (Strayhorn) of Riverview; his wife Joyce Strayhorn (Edgett); his daughters, Linda Brooks of Swampscott, MA and Sharon Cunningham; his son-in-law Kevin Cunningham of Farmington, CT; his sons, Peter Strayhorn of Moncton, NB and Scott Strayhorn; his daughter-in-law Christina Strayhorn of Portland, CT.; his grandchildren, Brittany, Brooke, Connor, Spencer, Megan and Danica; and his great grandchildren, Kevin and Reese. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Albert County Funeral Home (4130 NB-114, Hopewell Cape, NB E4H). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
