It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rose P. Oakes of Holmesville, New Brunswick, who passed away on December 26, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard DeMerchant and Melissa DeMerchant (Broad); her sons, Ellery Oakes and Doug Oakes (Mary); and her siblings, Ronald, Carol and Wilma.
She is survived by: her husband Graydon; her children, Sam Oakes (Jean), Sandra Oakes, Bill Oakes (Laurie) and Jeff Oakes (Robyn); and her siblings, Joyce Wallace, Martha Kinney, Louis DeMerchant, Myrtle Boyd (Joe), Murray DeMerchant (Donna) and Herb DeMerchant. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Respecting Covid - 19 regulations facial masks, proof of vaccination and Government issued ID are required for entry.
