She was predeceased by: her son Davey Edward Genge (David); and her father-in-law Canon David Genge. She is survived by: her husband Peter Genge; her son Michael Genge of Hillsborough, NB; her mother Mamie Sainsbury of Vermilion, AB; her mother-in-law Joan Genge of Saint John, NB; her siblings, John Sainsbury (Debbie) of Labrador City, NL, Jackie Foote (Tim) of Nova Scotia and Lorna Hamilton (Jason) of Vermilion, AB.; and her sisters-in-law, Joanne Genge of Saint John, NB and Heather Bertin (David) of Long Reach, NB. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins and by several life-long friends.

In keeping with Ngaire's wishes donations can be made to the IWK Health Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society or to the family.
