He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie David Steele II and Edna Les (Pierce); his wife Phyllis (O'Connor); his sons, Leslie and Phillip; and his son-in-law Paul Roy.
He is survived by: his daughter Pamela Steele of Hillsborough; his daughter-in-law Bonnie Steele of Hopewell Hill; his grandsons, Tyler, David (Katie) and Michael; his siblings, Mike (Mary-Jane), Lyn (Rod) and Brian; his close friend Barb; and his siblings, Arthur, Betty, Bill, Katherine, Frances, Jack, Joseph and Richard. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
