He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hoar and Arletta Hoar (Walton); his siblings, Verna (Everett), Della (Glen), Jean (Joe), Gerald, Frank (Ann) and Donnie; and his brother-in-law Ray Wortman.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his close friend Mary; his daughters, Kim (Raymond) and Norma (Bob) of Hillsborough; his granddaughter Shelby (Morgan); his siblings, Marilyn Wortman, Sterling (Velma), Reginald (Dorothy) and George (Vivian); and his siblings-in-law, Mabel Hoar and Charlie (Joyce). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
