He was predeceased by: his parents, Burpee Heffer and Adele Heffer (Olsen); and his brother Bryan Heffer. He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Heffer (Surrett) of Havelock; his children, Sarah Flynn (Jason) of New Hampshire and Jacob Heffer of Havelock; his grandson Beckett Flynn; and his niece Becky Moss of British Columbia.
