He was predeceased by: his father Maynard; his sister Deloris; and his stepfather Roy Alward. He is survived by: his mother Louise of Moncton; his wife Fern Renton; his son Daniel (Roxanne) of Havelock; his grandchildren, Christopher (Amber) and Nicole (Shawn); and his sister Deanna Johnstone of Wolfville. He is also survived by nieces; nephews; cousins; a step-brother and two step-sisters.
