He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Melvin and Myrtle Melvin (Killam); and his siblings, David, Wayne Melvin, Betty Melvin and Mary-Ellen.
He is survived by: his son Jonathon Melvin; and his siblings, Alice Jones (late Gary) of Salisbury, Julia Steeves (Greg) of Petitcodiac, Cora Melvin of Petitcodiac, Morgan Melvin of Havelock, Gerald Melvin of Toronto and Keith Melvin (Wanda) of Petitcodiac. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
A memorial service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Salisbury Funeral Home (3350 NB-106, Salisbury, NB E4J3H3).
