She was predeceased by: her father George Messer; her husband Ivan Jamieson; her siblings, Eugene Messer, Lorraine Hickey (Mitchell), Murial Martin (Goldie), Hayes Messer (Helen) and Vaughan Messer; and her siblings-in-law, Robert Jamieson (Sheila), Irene MacMullin (Roland), Myrna Magee (Theodore), Raymond Jamieson (Jackie), Roxie Jamieson, Evans Jamieson and Carl Jamieson.
She is survived by: her mother Ella Messer (Kingston); her children, Larry (Kelly Bidlake-Jamieson) of Fredericton, NB, Karen Gillespie (Brian) of Nackawic, NB, George (Jennifer) of Fredericton, NB and Robert (Marilyn) of Harvey Station, NB; her grandchildren, Alyssa (Kristian Horncastle), Jake Gillespie, Cameron, Benjamin, Connell, Abigail, Madison (Mitchell McIntyre) and Austin Jamieson; her great grandchild Landon Gillespie; and her sisters-in-law, Kaye Messer, Bessie Messer, Barbara Jamieson and Bernice Coburn-Messer. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Swan's Funeral Chapel (1826 NB-3, Harvey, NB E6K2P6). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Knox Presbyterian Church (2412 NB-3, Harvey, NB E6K1R4).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Knox Presbyterian Church Building Fund, the Harvey Settlement Cemetery, the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor's choice.
